One of the guiding principals for Events sanctioned by International Dance Productions is: More Dancing, Less Rules.
With this in mind, the organization’s leadership has chosen to provide rules when the safety of competitors is important, for example, or when it is necessary to communicate a specific set of qualification requirements. Otherwise, this organization’s goal is to provide competitor’s with guidelines that allow for broader interpretations than might be found in other organizations.

Would you like to host your own Club Competition?
A Club Competiton is a dance event held in a club-like venue that promotes social dancing at all levls, provides any of the dance types or styles recognized by IDP, and provides professional instruction on a regular basis. There is no limit to the number or locations that will conduct IDP-sanctioned Club Events during the competition calendar year. Club Events must offer a minimum of one Division in any combination of levels, to include Pro-am.
